Player Profiles 2007-8

Carrina 'Apron' Pinney - Left Midfielder, who can shout an awful lot, hence the position of Captain.  Joint Sportswoman of the Year 2006/07.

Jenny 'Up The' Harris - Team Coach but when she get's on the pitch she like's to play up front.  Joint Sportswoman of the Year 2006/07

Karen ' Howlin' Mad' Murdoch - Gobby good time girl, strong left winger with eye for goal, lethal from 1yard.  Joint Players Player of the year 2006/07

Lindsey 'The Bird' Bain (in the arse!) - Chairperson.  Never says no to a pint or two, Great support striker, who has been know to get a goal or two of her own.

Catherine 'Tiger' Woods - Awesome defender, hardest hit on the team.  She hits the bud as hard as she hit's the ball.

Helena ' Mutant' Schofield -  Fearless midfielder, often leaves the pitch like she been on a battlefield.

Micaela 'Boney' Moroney - Another top defender, who's been out with an injury for sometime, it will be good to get her back on the pitch.

Jane 'Mrs Dip' D'Ippolito - Left back.  Another fearless defender, good at stopping shots on the line, also good at self congratulation. Most improved player of the year 2006/07.

Rachel 'I like' Alcock - Right back who reads the game well (if she's wearing her glasses!)

Wendy 'The Boss' Haslam - Top striker, can run rings around most of us (as long as she has the ball at her stick, she's rubbish at running otherwise!).  

Jood 'Helmut' Tetlow - Versatile player, but really likes to play on the wing, bags of energy and fun.

'Dynamic' Di Graham - Attacking defender who still has the best tackle!  She's the 'Darjeeling's of the team!

Serena 'Dangerous Sister' Von der Heyde -  Central Midfielder, extremely fit and committed player (when she's in the country!)

Tamsin 'Even More Dangerous Sister' Martin - Serena's running partner and other dangerous pastimes.  Great right winger with a hard shot and an eye for goal.

Kirsty 'Special Fried' Rice - Vocal goalkeeper, she just keeps getting better and better! Joint Players Player of the year 2006/07

Alison 'Ed' Woodwards - Another fit and committed midfielder, but she's on maternity leave!  Please come back soon, we need you!

'Little Jane' Gibb - Attends Brunel Uni, and comes back occasionally to play some quality hockey!  Yeah right!

Avril 'Pancake' Soman -  Just returned to us after a tour of the Southern Hemisphere with 'The Hockey All-star's, it's great to have her back showing us a few tricks and scoring a few goals!

Vanessa 'VW' Wilson - One of our up and coming juniors, improving all of the time.

Katie 'Blusher Boots' Barber  - New junior, fitting in well in attack

Amy Owen - New junior, showing potential on the forward line.  

Alice Testa - New junior, looking great on the wing.
